Account Deletion

1. Introduction

At Nanflows, we believe you have full control over your data. This page explains how you can request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data.

We are committed to respecting your privacy and providing you with tools to manage your data in accordance with applicable data protection regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and other regional privacy laws.

2. How to Request Account Deletion

2.1 Email Request

To request deletion of your account, please send an email to:

Your email should include:

  • Your registered email address
  • Your account username (if different from email)
  • A clear statement requesting account deletion
  • Any additional information to help us locate your account

2.2 Account Settings

If available, you can also delete your account directly through your account settings dashboard. Look for the "Delete Account" or "Close Account" option in your profile settings.

3. What Happens When You Request Deletion

3.1 Deletion Process

Once we receive your deletion request:

  • Within 24 hours: We will send you a confirmation email acknowledging your request
  • Within 7 days: We will begin the deletion process
  • Within 30 days: Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted

3.2 Confirmation

Once your account has been fully deleted, you will receive a final confirmation email. After this point, your data cannot be recovered.

4. Data We Delete

Upon account deletion, we permanently remove the following data:

  • Account Information: Email address, username, profile information
  • Workflow Data: All automation workflows, configurations, and settings
  • User Content: All data, files, and materials you created
  • Usage Data: Analytics, logs, and usage history
  • Payment History: Billing records (we may retain certain financial records as required by law)
  • Integration Connections: All connected third-party service credentials and connections
  • Communications: Support tickets, emails, and correspondence

5. Data We May Retain

Under certain circumstances, we may be required to retain some data:

  • Legal Obligations: We may retain data if required by law, regulation, or legal process
  • Financial Records: Tax and accounting records may be retained for the legally required period
  • Security: Backup copies may be retained for a limited time for disaster recovery purposes
  • Legal Claims: Data may be retained if necessary for defending legal claims

If we retain any data after deletion, we will notify you of the specific data we retain and the reason for retention.

6. Deletion of Third-Party Data

6.1 Connected Services

If you connected third-party services (such as social media accounts, APIs, or other platforms) to Nanflows, you should also:

  • Revoke Nanflows' access to those services directly
  • Review those services' privacy policies for their data retention practices

6.2 Data Sent to Third Parties

Any data you sent to third-party services through Nanflows (such as webhook payloads or API calls) is governed by those third parties' privacy policies. We cannot delete data that has been transferred to external services.

7. Effect of Account Deletion

Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to:

  • All your workflow automations and configurations
  • Your account history and usage data
  • Any premium features associated with your account
  • Support history and saved preferences

If you wish to use Nanflows again after deletion, you will need to create a new account.

8. Right to Withdraw Consent

If you initially consented to data processing, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawing consent may result in the deletion of your account, as we may no longer be able to provide our services without your data.

10. Data Export (Alternative to Deletion)

Before deleting your account, you may want to export your data. We provide data export features that allow you to download:

  • Your workflow configurations
  • Usage history and analytics
  • Account settings and preferences

11. Response Time

We are committed to processing deletion requests promptly:

  • Initial Response: Within 24-48 hours of receiving your request
  • Completion: Within 30 days of verification
  • Complex Cases: In rare cases, deletion may take up to 60 days. We will notify you if this applies

12. Verification

To protect your account from unauthorized deletion, we may need to verify your identity before processing your request. This may involve:

  • Confirming your registered email address
  • Answering security questions
  • Providing additional account details

We appreciate your patience during this verification process.

13. Appeals Process

If you believe your deletion request was denied in error, or if you have concerns about how we handled your data, you may appeal our decision by contacting us and explaining your concerns.
